"Easy Heating Ltd replaced my boiler in December 2020 and I am very pleased to recommend their services. Rush responded very quickly when I contacted him and he completed the job efficiently and tidily with absolutely no fuss or disruption. He gave excellent advice about a replacement which has proved ideal for my needs and also provided clear instructions about how it all worked. A first class job!!"

We offer a power flushing service designed to clear unwanted sludge and debris from your heating system.
Power flushing may be necessary if there is a build up of sludge in your system. A simple way to check this yourself is if your radiators feel hot at the top, but cold at the bottom.
There are other tests that can determine whether a power flush is necessary, such as taking a water sample which gives instant results. If left untreated, sludge can cause serious damage to the heating system and components. Blocked heat exchangers, valves and broken pumps can occur and in severe cases systems may need to be re-piped.
Sludge build up is caused by a lack of corrosion inhibitor in the heating system. Corrosion inhibitor prevents the deterioration of steel on the inside of the radiators. If this has been depleted due to a leak, or never put in to the system in the first place, then then the radiators will start to erode from the inside. This manifests as black or orange sludge.
This sludge will eventually cause severe blockages throughout the entire heating system. As mentioned before, a simple test that you can do yourself is to check if radiators heat up at the top but not at the bottom. This shows that a radiator has sludge in it and isn’t allowing the water to flow all the way through it.
"Rush has really good communication skills, he is easy to deal with and is reliable and efficient."
