Dr Patterson’s boiler had been condemned by another engineer. She had been left without heating and hot water. They had left a quotation for installing a new boiler in the same location but were not able to carry it out for some time. We were asked to visit site to quote for a new boiler. After surveying the heating works at the property we determined that the boiler could not go back in to the same location as it was too close to an openable skylight, this had been missed by the other engineer. We gave a quote to move the boiler in to the garage and make good the area where the old boiler had been located.
